DAY 01 | ARRIVAL CHENNAI (Meals: X/X/X)
On arrival at Chennai International Airport, you will meet and assisted by our company representative. Then transfer you to hotel for check in. This stay in Delhi will also provide you the chance to get over the jet lag. Overnight at hotel in CHENNAI.
DAY 02 | CHENNAI – TIRUPATHI (Meals: B/X/D)
After breakfast drive to Tirupathi, situated in the Chittoor district surrounded by Tirumala mountain ranges, Tirupati is one of the most famous shrines in the country. Even today, Tirupati draws enormous crowds throughout the year. On arrival visit Padmavathy Amman Temple check into hotel and then go for darshan in Sri Venkatachalapathy Temple in tirumala. Later return back to hotel. Overnight stay in TIRUPATHI.
DAY 03 | TIRUPATHI – KANCHIPURAM – MAHABALIPURAM (Meals: B/X/D)
After breakfast proceed to Mamallapuram, one of the world heritage site for stone temple. Upon arrival visit the World Heritage Site of Mahabalipuram or Mamallapuram famous for rock bas reliefs and sculptures. The Krishna’s Butter Ball is a massive boulder balanced on a small hill, fascinating Shore Temple (Belongs to 8th Century AD), Pancha Pandava Rathas, Tiger Cave & etc are located nearby. En-route visit Kanchi Kamakshi Amman temple, is an ancient Hindu Temple dedicated to Kamakshi, the ultimate form of Goddess Lalitha Maha Tripurasundari. It is located in the historic city of Kanchipuram. Overnight stay at MAHABALIPURAM.
DAY 04 | MAHABALIPURAM – PONDICHERRY (Meals: B/X/D)
After morning breakfast, proceed to Pondicherry. A former French colony, now a great tourist attraction. Upon arrival visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, established by the French missionaries in the 18th century. In recent years, the church has become one of the famous pilgrimage spot for Christians in Pondicherry (or) Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Temple, a vibrant Hindu temple known for its elephant blessings, ornately carved stone walls & golden chariot. The next attraction to be experienced during the territory’s tour is the visit to Auroville to experience the world of calmness and serenity, the township established by the mother for harmonious living. Later visit Chunnambar Boat House also known as Plage Paradiso is famous for its backwaters and it’s a popular boating venue. Paradise beach is usually reached by boat from Chunnambar Boat House and Paradise Beach ride through back waters is amazing to reach island shore to reach the sea shore. Then check into the hotel. Enjoy the evening in Rock beach, bordered by a street with restaurants, this scenic, rocky beach draws crowds during the evening also visit the French War Memorial in Puducherry, is a war memorial dedicated to residents of French India who died for the country during the First World War. Overnight stay in PONDICHERRY.
DAY 05 | PONDICHERRY – THANJAVUR (Meals: B/X/D)
After breakfast drive you to Thanjavur. Thanjavur is an important center of South Indian religion, art, and architecture. Most of the Great Living Chola Temples, which are UNESCO World Heritage Monuments, are located in and around Thanjavur. On arrival visit thanjai Periya koil, Brihadeeswarar Temple (the second largest monolithic sculpture Nandi) built by Raja Raja Cholan, the Royal palace complex – which houses library and museums. The structure is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is unparalleled in terms of grandeur, scale and detailing. Thanjavur Palace/Marathe Palace, known locally as Aranmanai, today is the official residence of the Bhonsle family that occupied Tanjore from 1674 to 1855. After darshan check-in at hotel. Overnight stay in THANJAVUR.
DAY 06 | THANJAVUR – RAMESWARAM (Meals: B/X/D)
Morning after breakfast proceed for an exciting trip to Rameswaram via Pamban Palam. On arrival visit Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial, Burial site of former President of India Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, marked by a life-sized statue. Then check-in at hotel. Rameswaram, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. The holiness of this place is clear from the belief that even your trip to Kasi is incomplete without your trip to Rameswaram. The Ramanathaswami temple here dedicated to Lord Shiva is thronged by millions of pilgrims every year then proceed to Dhanushkodi beach prayers. Visit Ramanathaswamy temple and Sri Panchamukhi Hanuman temple. After darshan return to hotel. Overnight stay in RAMESWARAM.
DAY 07 | RAMESWARAM – MADURAI (Meals: B/X/D)
After breakfast drive to Madurai. The temple town of Madurai, situated on the banks of river Vaigai, is one of the most ancient cities in India with a history dating back to the pre-Christian times. On arrival Madurai, Admire Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Thiruparankundram Murugan temple, one of the Six Abodes (Arupadaiveedu) of Murugan, located at Thiruparankundram. The temple is built in rock-cut architecture and believed to have been built by the Pandyas during the 6th century. Evening go for darshan in most famous Meenatchi Amman temple, after darshan check into hotel. Overnight stay in MADURAI.
DAY 08 | MADURAI – TRICHY (Meals: B/X/D)
Morning after breakfast drive to Trichy, on arrival go for darshan in Ucchi Pillayar Temple is a 7th century Hindu temple, one dedicated to Lord Ganesha located a top of Rockfort, Trichy. According to legend, this rock is the place where Lord Ganesha ran from King Vibishana, after establishing the Ranganathaswamy deity in Srirangam, Explore Around the Teppakulam, Visit Historic Churches (Our Lady of Lourdes Church) and visit the magnificent Ayiram Kaal Mandapam, It is one of the best architectural treasures were the symmetry of the pillars will leave you amazed. The hall has thousand pillars with intricate curving. The pillars could each produce a uniquely different musical note and in fact it is considered that all of the worlds music originate from the notes generated by these 1000 pillars at the Aayiram Kal Mandapam. DAY 09 | TRICHY – CHENNAI (Meals: B/X/D)
Morning after breakfast drive to chennai, on arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit Marina beach(World’s second largest beach), MGR, Karunanidhi & Jayalalitha Memorial & visit Kapaleeshwarar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to lord Shiva located in Mylapore, Chennai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The form of Shiva’s consort Parvati worshiped at this temple is called Karpagambal is from Tamil. The temple was built around the 7th century CE and is an example of Dravidian architecture. Overnight stay in CHENNAI.
DAY 10 | CHENNAI DEPARTURE (Meals: B/L/X)
After breakfast full day free and easy for shopping or visit some of the famous sightseeing in chennai until transfer to Chennai international airport for your onward journey with sweet and unforgettable memories.
